Positioned within AL DAHRA , located in our Rabat office, the Manager Procurement & Supply Chain plays a strategic role in the OPERATIONS department. This position is integral in managing and optimizing the procurement processes and supply chain activities to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality standards are maintained throughout the organization.

About the Role

The Manager Procurement & Supply Chain will manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle and supply chain operations supporting local management objectives . This role requires collaboration with multiple internal departments such as farming ,production, quality assurance, finance, as well as key external suppliers and service providers.

Key responsibilities include planning and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating supplier contracts, monitoring supplier performance, managing inventory control, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The position demands a proactive approach to risk management, identifying potential supply disruptions and developing contingency plans.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute procurement and supply chain strategies aligned with the company's operational goals.
Manage supplier relationships, conduct market analysis, and negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan inventory, and streamline logistics processes.
Lead procurement activities to ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations.
Monitor supply chain KPIs and implement improvements to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
Coordinate with the finance department to align budgets and payment schedules with procurement plans.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting on procurement and supply chain performance to senior management.
Stay informed of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting procurement and supply chain management.
Drive sustainability initiatives within procurement and supply chain practices to support corporate social responsibility goals.

Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within farming or a related sector would be preferable.
Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to drive data-informed decisions.
Leadership capabilities with experience leading cross-functional projects.
Effective communication skills, capable of working inclusively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in relevant ERP systems, particularly SAP Ariba, is required/preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent is typically required; advanced certifications are advantageous.
