Job Summary: The Procurement & Supply chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's procurement activities, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and cost optimization. He/She works closely with various departments to ensure that the needs for raw materials, products, and services are met effectively and efficiently. The Procurement & Supply chain Manager develops and implements procurement strategies aligned with the company's goals, establishes strong and lasting supplier relationships, and ensures compliance with contract terms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
  • Supplier Selection: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contract terms, and establish strong and sustainable relationships.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate, draft, and manage purchase contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and resolving any disputes.
  • Cost Optimization: Analyze expenditures and identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality and reliability of supplies.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with production, logistics, quality, and finance departments to ensure procurement needs are understood and met.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency of procurement processes and suppliers.
  • Project Management : Manager procurement-related projects, ensuring smooth execution within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Market Monitoring: Track market trends, innovations, and regulatory changes to anticipate shifts and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Master degree in supply chain management , procurement , or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement & supply chain management, preferably within Agricultural/Agroindustry sector.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement management tools and software (ERP Proficiency Desirable: Mastery of SAP Ariba for procurement management).
  • Deep knowledge of market trends and practices.

Languages: Proficiency in French and English.
