Specialist, People Operations
The People Operations Specialist is responsible for delivering efficient, accurate, and standardized people operational services across multiple countries and entities. The role ensures high data quality, compliance, and consistent service delivery across the employee lifecycle within the HRIS environment. This role ensures high standards of data accuracy, compliance, and service delivery, while actively contributing to the standardization, simplification, and continuous improvement of both payroll and people operations.
Accountabilities
- Deliver end-to-end HR operational support across the employee lifecycle (e.g. onboarding, contract changes, employee data updates, offboarding)
- Manages employee queries (payroll, benefits, leave, HR letters) in timely and professional manner
- Ticket triage, routing & tracking
- Onboarding logistics (documentation, systems access, induction scheduling
- Manage case queries within SLA
- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely maintenance of employee data in the HRIS in line with global data governance standards
- Execute people processes in accordance with defined policies, procedures, and SLAs
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, managers, and employees to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Support standardization and harmonization of HR processes across countries and entities and contributes to process improvements, and automation initiatives
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, local labor laws, and audit requirements
- Provide accurate and timely HR data inputs required for payroll processing
- Validate payroll-related data and support payroll execution in collaboration with payroll teams or vendors
- Assist in resolving payroll-related discrepancies and employee queries
- Ensure alignment between HRIS data and payroll systems
Qualifications
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Experience working with HRIS/payroll systems (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Payroll, or similar)
- Basic understanding of payroll regulations, taxation, HR processes, and data governance
- 2–5 years of experience in HR operations, HR administration, or shared services environment, preferably in a multi-country environment
- Demonstrated experience in delivering HR operational services across the employee lifecycle (e.g. onboarding, employee data management, contract changes, offboarding) with high accuracy and timeliness
- Proven ability to maintain high data quality and integrity within HRIS systems, including experience working with large volumes of employee data
- Track record of working within defined SLAs and consistently meeting service delivery timelines
- Experience in supporting standardized HR processes across multiple entities or countries
- Proven ability to resolve HR-related queries and issues efficiently while ensuring a high level of service quality
- Experience working in compliance with internal policies, local labor laws, and audit requirements
- Demonstrated contribution to process improvements, standardization, or automation initiatives within HR operations
- Experience collaborating effectively with HR Business Partners, managers, payroll teams, and other stakeholders
